As advisors, we don’t get involved in execution. We follow an advisory framework that unearths your organisation’s context, carries out a root cause analysis and provides a range of considerations with the associated tradeoffs.
Being a consultant is similar to acting as an advisor, however once decisions are made, we participate in execution and are comfortable to take full responsibility for a set of outcomes or participating as a contributing member in an internal team.
We only take on coaching assignments for individuals who we believe have the potential and desire to change. These individuals must either belong to organisations that have a vision for serving South Africa or be transitioning into a more purposeful career. Engagements will only be formalised after an initial interview.
We accept speaking engagements (lectures, speeches, panel discussions) based on topics that we are passionate about and where we believe we can make a valuable contribution.
Unfortunately, we don’t take on external board appointments.
In organisations where we have significant shareholding relative to the largest shareholder, we will consider taking a board seat as long as they are run efficiently and for the benefit of the company.
For all other organisations that we have invested in, we prefer our influence to be felt through a strong set of relationships with the executive team. In the event that these relationships do not exist, we will start the process of exiting our investment or requesting a change in the executive team.
